Going International

Apostille services — documents accepted worldwide.

An apostille is an official certificate that authenticates your document for use in the 120+ countries of the Hague Apostille Convention. Without it, foreign governments, schools and businesses may reject your U.S. paperwork.

We take the entire burden off your shoulders: we review your documents, complete any required notarization, submit them to the Texas Secretary of State (or coordinate federal authentication through the U.S. Department of State), and return them to you ready for international use.

Every apostille order is different — document type, count, destination country and turnaround all affect the work involved. That's why we quote each order individually, with packages starting at $249.

Documents we frequently apostille

  • Birth, marriage & death certificates
  • FBI background checks
  • Certificates of Naturalization
  • Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA)
  • Federal & state court documents
  • Diplomas, transcripts & degrees
  • Powers of attorney
  • Corporate & business documents
  • Adoption paperwork

Destination country not in the Hague Convention? Ask us about full embassy legalization — we can help with that too.

Documents

What we can notarize for you.

With a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, here are just a few of the documents we can notarize:

General Notarizations Parental Consent Forms School Forms Acknowledgements Affidavits Jurats Corporate Documents Quitclaim Deeds Grant Deeds Power of Attorney Advance Healthcare Directives Revocable & Irrevocable Trusts Adoption Reference Letters Depositions Mortgage Loan Documents Living Trusts And much more…

Not sure whether your document needs an acknowledgment or a jurat? See our notarial definitions — and note that the type of notarization must be chosen by you or the document issuer, as a notary cannot give legal advice.

The Process

How it works — six simple steps.

From booking to seal, we make notarization effortless. Please allow a minimum of 30 minutes for your appointment.

Book your appointment

Call, email, or use the booking form below to schedule a time that works for you — same-day, evenings and weekends available.

Prepare your documents

Download and print all documents needing notarization — but don't sign them yet! Signatures must be made or acknowledged before the notary.

Know your notarization type

Determine whether you need a jurat or an acknowledgment. Check with your document issuer — as notaries, we cannot choose for you.

Gather valid ID

Every signer must present a valid, unexpired state or federal government-issued photo ID at the time of service. No exceptions.

Meet your notary

We verify identity, witness signatures, administer any oaths, and complete the notarial certificate with seal — in person or online.

Done — signed & sealed

Walk away with properly notarized documents. Need printing, shipping or extra witnesses? Just ask when you book.

Know Before You Sign

Notarial definitions.

A quick reference to the most common notarial terms — so you arrive prepared.

A formal declaration before an authorized official, such as a notary public, by someone who signs a document and confirms that the signature is authentic. Also, the certificate of the officer on such instrument indicating that the document has been so acknowledged.

A voluntary declaration of facts, written down and sworn to or affirmed by the declarant ("affiant") before a Notary Public or other officer having the authority to administer an oath.

The act of affirming the truth of a document — not an oath. "I solemnly affirm and declare the foregoing to be a true statement…" Note that an affidavit may appear in two forms: a sworn affidavit with oath, or an affirmed affidavit with affirmation. Each has the same legal import.

A certification added to an affidavit or document stating when, where and before whom such affidavit was made. The signer must sign in the notary's presence and take an oath or affirmation.

A solemn declaration, accompanied by a swearing to God or a revered person or thing, that one's statement is true or that one will be bound to a promise. The person making the oath implicitly invites punishment if the statement is untrue or the promise is broken.
